I have wanted a white denim skirt since last summer but couldn’t find the exact one that I wanted. Because let me tell you white denim is an absolute must piece for your spring/summer wardrobe, they will go with all your gorgeous colourful and floral tops you have brought out of hibernation. Because white denim is a clean palette that you can style with any and all colours and pattern and I am so excited to join the party with this fabulous white denim mini.

Although I will most definitely wear my skirt with frilly floral tops for as long as the weather allows me, I decided to go in a slightly different direction with this fabulous blue and white stripe button up with gorgeous balloon sleeves that I pushed up to really emphasise it's volume (y’all know I love me a statement sleeves!!) I knotted the top at the waist giving the look a bit more of a casual street style-ness instead of tucking it in which would make it more business-y, still really chic just not the vibe I was wanting at the time. Plus there is something to be said about how well a white on the bottom goes with a blue and white stripe on top - it is truly such a classic yet fabulous style combination, I really do have to pull it out more. Accessorising this outfit was really easy due to the fact that I had just purchased my favourite net bag in red, and we all should know that red is one of the greatest colours to accompany white and blue so it was a done deal straight away! Continuing along with my red colour scheme I finished off the rest of the look with a pair of red converse and a cute yet quirky red lego piece necklace. So there you have it a street style twist on the classic combination of white and blue stripes topped off of a white denim bottom and accessorised with red, there is just so many options when styling a white denim piece... So enjoy the experimentation ladies and gentlemen!
