KEEPING WARM IN STRIPES

January 19, 2017

I don't want to say stripes are my thing but the in your face evidence on my blog proves otherwise, you do not need to be sherlock homes to get that I love a good stripe anything!! Furthering the proof of this I am wearing a classic pin stripe Ralph Lauren button up (also a staple in my wardrobe). Seeing as I still get to enjoy the colder weather I styled the shirt with a seriously warm cashmere cardigan also courtesy of the lovely Ralph Lauren - I may or may not have "lifted" these pieces from my mothers wardrobe, just kidding her closet is my playground! I paired my two lovely pieces with a great pair of blue denim jeans from Zara, these are definitely one of my favourite pairs of jeans because the fit is so great and gives me a nice little booty from the back (not that it is shown in this outfit) but you got to love a jean that enhances the derrière. Topping of this outfit with blue converse, a gorgeous dark blue leather bag from Camila's that my wonderful mama brought me back from a trip to barcelona (she's the best). My final accessory and definitely the coolest of them all is my necklace...red connectable pieces of lego!! The awesomness of this necklace can not be described but what I will do is thank my brother for finding and gifting it to me for a birthday!!! I absolutely adore this outfit, it's chic, classy and the parisian vibes are strong. However if you want to do something similar but want to dress it up a bit, undo the buttons of the mens shirt and add a cute pair of heeled ankle boots (in a color that matches your shirt, jeans or cardigan) I would maybe go for black or grey with my outfit, you can also do a high heeled pump if you prefer a sleeker shoe. Adding a belt to cinch at the waist will also emphasise your figure giving the look a bit of sexiness. Keep it simple is my advice as you want the stripes to be the shining aspect of this parisain outfit.
