Fur has always been a staple in fall and winter fashion, although this year faux fur has definitely been a strong trend from coats to added accessories on shoes, ranging from classic colors like black and brown to more adventurous colors of pinks, reds, blues, greens and leopard. I love this years trend of faux, it allows you to be chic, quirky and adventurous while remaining effortlessly timeless. However if wearing a full coat is too daunting - go for a vest, you still get the look of the season without the bulkiness that is harder to pull off. Also keeping the color to a neutral will allow for more creativity with your outfits foundation, like I have done here with my outfit. Styling a gorgeous emerald blue faux fur vest from Pink Tartan, with a super cute bell sleeve tartan shirt from Zara and a pair of Lee Cooper jeans, topping off the outfit with classic hightop blue Converse (one of so many pairs that I own) a matching coloured ribbon tied as a chocker necklace. If a ribbon or chocker necklace is not for you, you can definitely top the look off with a scarf instead. Let us not forget the bag to end all bags people! This absolutely gorgeous bordeaux alligator print leather bag came to me via a vintage store that was closing down. I can not begin to express to you my excitement of finding this bag - all I can do is thank the grandma that left this absolute treasure for me to find. To note this years trend in colorful faux fur, should be taken advantage of - have fun with it, be adventurous and experiment and enjoy it, because that is what fashion is all about. Style it up, style it down but most of all style it to you.
